Greetings!

I am Dena Grunt. Welcome to my blog!

In my professional life I am the founder of Destination HR Consulting, where I get to practice my love of human resources, organization development and coaching. I also am part owner in Nick’s Cove and am the author of Table with a View: the History and Recipes of Nick’s Cove.

In my personal life I live in Petaluma with my husband of 25 years. We have one thoughtful and kind son who is currently a freshman in college (empty nesters!) and two rambunctious dogs, Reggie and Wren. Every day I am surrounded by talented, compassionate, creative and engaging friends who always make me feel well loved.

In this time of uncertainty when friends, communities, families face being divided through politics, health choices and as we gently, and with some trepidation, step back into some semblance of the life we had before covid, I remind myself each day to take a moment away from the chaos, the media, the noise and be mindful: of my body, my surroundings, my family, my friends, my dogs, nature … it is in these times that I find the questions I hope to answer for myself here!
