Love

I Love you … love ya … hey love … I’m in love with you … I love that [insert movie, food, clothing …] We use the word “love” in so many ways. Ultimately, it’s used to describe the way we feel about someone or something that brings us joy; to express to someone how much they mean to us.

While there are different types of love: for a spouse, friend, child, parent. For me, they all share the same emotions: gratitude, joy, trust, belief, friendship, respect. These are the emotions I feel in my heart about someone when I utter that word to them.  To say, “I love you” is pure parsimony! It communicates to that person how I feel about them and how much they matter to me in that exact moment in time.

Having the freedom to say that to another person is what makes you feel good inside … it’s not hearing the words uttered back!
